Foxcatcher: Community Chat Guidelines
Creating a respectful, insightful, and fun space for racing fans to connect.

  1. Purpose of the Community
Foxcatcher Chat exists to help racing fans and punters share insights, discuss form, and learn from one another in a respectful environment. Everyone — from the casual weekend punter to the die-hard racing enthusiast — should feel welcome to join the conversation.

  2. Be Respectful

  • Treat all members with courtesy. Personal attacks, insults, or harassment will not be tolerated.

  • Disagreements are natural — debate the form and the field, not the person.

  • Avoid inflammatory, offensive, or discriminatory language.

  1. Keep It Relevant

  • Discussions should relate to racing, form, race analysis, or Foxcatcher features (Daily Insights, Race Intel, videos and future meetings).

  • Off-topic or spammy posts (including self-promotion, affiliate links, or unrelated content) will be removed.

  • Keep repetitive messages, flooding, or trolling out of the chat.

  1. No Hate or Discrimination

  • Zero tolerance for hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination.

  • Do not post or share imagery, links, or text that promotes violence or hate.

  1. No Tipping-for-Sale or Guarantees

  • Foxcatcher provides expert racing analysis and insights — the community chat is a space for discussion, not a tipping service.

  • Members must not sell tips, spruik "sure things" or "good things," or make misleading claims about outcomes.

  • No result is ever guaranteed. Always gamble responsibly and within your means.

  1. Protect Your Privacy

  • Do not share personal or sensitive information (e.g., full name, address, banking details).

  • Do not share others' personal details without consent.

  1. Stay Legal & Ethical

  • Do not promote or organise illegal betting activities.

  • Follow all laws and platform terms related to wagering in your jurisdiction.

  • Do not impersonate the Foxcatcher team, moderators, or other users.

  1. Use of Language and Tone

  • Please keep communication clear and understandable — English is the primary language used in chat.

  • Avoid excessive profanity or caps-lock shouting.

  • Friendly banter is welcome — abuse is not.

  1. Blocked Words

  • Foxcatcher has a filter that automatically blocks certain words and phrases from being posted in chat.

  • If you believe a word or phrase should not be on the 'automod' block list, you're welcome to raise it with the moderators or email support@foxcatcher.com.au.

  1. Moderation and Enforcement

  • Moderators reserve the right to warn, mute, or remove users who violate these guidelines.

  • Repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension or a permanent ban.

  • Appeals can be submitted via support@foxcatcher.com.au.

  1. Reporting Issues

  • Help keep Foxcatcher safe — report rule-breaking content or behaviour directly to moderators via support@foxcatcher.com.au.

  • Screenshots and context help moderators act quickly and fairly.

  1. Responsible Wagering Reminder
Foxcatcher encourages smart and responsible wagering. If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling, free and confidential support is available in Australia 24/7 through the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858, or online at GambleAware (gambleaware.nsw.gov.au).
